Meeting with U.E.G.

On Wednesday 31-05-17, the members of the Board (Messrs. : Veniamin Kountouris, Chairman, Marinos Georgiadis, Vice-Chairman, Anastasios Plantzopoulos, Secretary-General) and the Technical advisor of SEPIE (A.S.P.G.), Mr. Anastasios Chondromatidis, met with the members of the Chair of the European Scaffolding Association (Union Europäischer Gerüstbaubetriebe - U.E.G.). At first there was a presentation of the U.E.G., its member-countries as well as the benefits they enjoy as U.E.G. members. In the dialogue that followed in a very friendly atmosphere, the members of the Board and the Technical advisor of SEPIE (A.S.P.G.), referred to the problems faced by the scaffolding sector in Greece and asked questions about the way the respective companies abroad operate. It seems that the difficulties and shortcomings in the legislative framework of the scaffolding sector, are common in European countries. The exchange of experience and knowledge is very important in order to achieve the objectives of the Association.
